My go-to's

Clients, friends, and family often ask me for my go-to’s in regards to interiors. Every designer has a repertoire of their favorites – wall colors, trim colors, cabinet styles, hardwood stains, rugs, lamps, etc. I love mine so much, I thought I’d share!
Here are a few of my favorite things!
Wall color: Benjamin Moore’s Coastal Fog – I recommend it all the time, and have never had a client that didn’t love it!
Blue Ceiling/Accent: Healing Aloe by Benjamin Moore
Trim Color/White cabinet color: White Dove by Benjamin Moore
Cabinet style: Shaker Style cabinets are my favorite! A bit retro in their look, they always look clean and simple to me!
Hardwood Floor Stain: Dark Walnut. I love it!
Inexpensive rug: Ikea Tarnby jute rug. I use them all the time!
Inexpensive gourd lamps at JC Penney! Seriously!
White bedding: Pine Cone Hill’s Baja matelasse is my all time fave.
Pillow Source: Etsy. Hands down.
More Gourd Lamps: Lamps Plus – their colors are like candy!
Ceiling lights that won’t break the bank: Home Depot!
Down inserts for pillows: Ikea!
Cheap window treatments: Ikea’s Aina panels are made of linen. I have had mine lined and they look expensive!
Cute club chair: Pier One’s Seersucker striped chair. Adorable!
Best sofas for the money: Pottery Barn. They always look good and there are so many styles to chose from!
